Wilhelm KRALIK & son, founded in 1877 in Elonorenhain, Johann Meyr (1775-1841) founded in 1831-34 the glass manufacture Eleonorenhain especially for ground and clock glass. After his death in 1841 his nephews Wilmehl Kralik (1806-1877) and Josef Taschek (1814-1862) managed 3 firms Adolf Karltenbach und Eleonorenhain and they operated under Josef Meyr`s nephew the production. In 1851 Wilhelm Kralik married Louise Lobmeyr the daughter of a business friend of Vienna / Austria. Wilhelm Kralik takeover the glass manufactures Ernstbrunn and Franzensthal and later the manufacture Idathal and Louisenhütte. Wilhelm Kralik died 1877 and his 4 sons takeover the firms. The manufacture produced iridescent glass items since 1899 after the designs of Wilhelm Kralik, beautiful art glass with typical designs, luxury glass with etched floral decors like the famous Gallè glass items, the named the glass series D`Aurys, Soleil, Beautè and like the famous series Ars, Lutetia, Richard, Roger and Veles of Loetz / Lötz Johann. Later in 1945 after the world wars Eleonorenheim was named Lenora and from this time another branch of Cesky Cristal.
